| Set in beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, yet only 30 minutes drive from Heathrow Airport and 3 miles from rail and tube connections into London, 'The Potter's Arms' is a traditional village Pub offering reasonably-priced twin and double-bedded accommodation.
Extensively refurbished, the Pub now has a large modern bar servery, where locals and travellers alike can enjoy a range of three real ales as well as lagers and wines etc. Bar snacks are also available. There is a pool table discreetly tucked round the corner, where there is also a large-screen TV.
The large ingle-nook fireplace in the main bar, in which blazing log fires provide cheer and warmth in the winter months, is the only relic of the building's former use as the potter's workshop.
The 50-seater restaurant – "The Crock Pot" – provides good-quality luncheons and dinners sourced from local products. The menu reflects traditional English and Continental dishes prepared on the premises.
Upstairs are four comfortably-appointed, letting rooms, all en-suite; with digital TV's and tea and coffee-making facilities. Rates include a simple breakfast – full English cooked can be provided at an additional price.
Rates: £60 per night per Room. (Single occupancy £45.00).
